Unauthenticated SQL injection via login username
Published Nov 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
SQL injection in Apartment Visitor Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute time-delay SQL expressions through the login form. The /avms/index.php login handler incorporates the POST username value into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling SLEEP expressions. No authentication or user interaction is required; the demonstrated consequence is attacker-controlled query timing, while database reading or modification was not shown.
