Administrative access via recoverable bundled credentials
Published Nov 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Use of hard-coded credentials in Book Store Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to gain administrative panel access. The bundled Database-folder SQL file contains the administrator credential as an MD5 password hash that can be recovered offline and reused at the login page. No prior account is required; successful reuse grants the administrative actions exposed by the panel, although public evidence does not enumerate those actions.
