Unauthenticated admin access via hard-coded credentials
Published Nov 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in Sanitization Management System 1.0 allow remote attackers to gain administrator access through the login page. The distributed sms_db.sql database seed stores the administrator password as a reusable MD5 hash, and the project page publishes the default login. No prior account is required; successful login grants management of site data, features, and system users.
