Authenticated PHP code execution via configuration injection
Published Nov 10, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Code injection in ESPCMS P8.21120101 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP through INPUT_ISDESCRIPTION. The management function embeds the field value in a generated PHP file without validating or escaping executable syntax. Access to the management background is required; a crafted value modifies the PHP file so a later request runs attacker-supplied server code.
