Stored script execution via unsanitized contact SVG
Published Nov 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Zenario CMS 9.3.57186 allows remote authenticated users to run script via a crafted contact SVG. The Users & Contacts image path accepts an SVG containing script and serves it as browser-active content without neutralizing the script. A low-privilege account must store the image and another user must view it, exposing the viewer's browser session to script-controlled reads and actions.
