Code injection in Russound XSourcePlayer 777D 06.08.03 allows remote attackers to execute code through scriptRunner.cgi requests. Public records identify scriptRunner.cgi as the execution locus but do not disclose the request parameter or input-handling operation that admits attacker-controlled code. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation executes attacker-supplied code on the appliance.
