Unauthenticated administrative command execution
Published Nov 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Improper access control in APsystems ECU-C firmware allows physically proximate attackers to read sensitive data and run administrative commands. Public records do not identify the affected request handler or explain how it accepts privileged operations without an authenticated administrator session. Exposure is limited to attackers within the product's wireless network range, and successful access grants full administrative functions across versions 4.1NA, 3.11.4, W2.1NA, 4.1SAA, and C1.2.2.
