Attachment disclosure via missing bulk-download permission check
Published Dec 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Authorization bypass in Redmine 5.0.0 through 5.0.3 allows remote attackers to download attachments from any issue or wiki page. The attachments#download_all action assembled a container's attachments without first enforcing its attachments_visible? permission. Exposure depends on configuration: anonymous access can suffice, while other deployments require a registered account, and the consequence is unauthorized file disclosure only.
