Denial of service in Softing uaToolkit Embedded 1.30 through 1.40 allows remote attackers to crash PubSub subscribers with a malformed announcement. The exact parser error is undisclosed; processing a malformed PubSub Discovery Announcement results in a NULL dereference, memory leak, or out-of-bounds access. Only applications using OPC UA PubSub subscribe functionality are exposed, and exploitation interrupts the affected subscriber application.
