Database credential disclosure via unrestricted table selection
Published Dec 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Improper access control in Simmeth Lieferantenmanager before 5.6 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database tables. The GetPaggedTab endpoint accepts a client-supplied table name without restricting it to tables authorized for the account and returns the selected rows. Possession of a valid username is sufficient, exposing application passwords and Microsoft SQL Server password hashes.
