CVE-2022-44007Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session hijacking via attacker-chosen session identifiers

Published Nov 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025

Session fixation in BACKCLICK Professional 5.9.63 allows remote attackers to hijack authenticated user sessions through a crafted URL. The AjaXplorer content.php flow accepts an attacker-chosen session identifier from the URL and copies user data from the victim's authenticated Java session into the new PHP session. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to visit the URL; the attacker can then reuse the known identifier to access file-management functions as that user.
