Administrator cookie theft via stored map name
Published Jan 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Stored XSS in Pandora FMS v765 network-map editing allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The network-map name field stores attacker-supplied markup without neutralizing it before the edit view renders the name. A low-privilege map creator must persuade an administrator to open the edited map, enabling theft of the administrator's session cookie.
