Unauthenticated API access via exposed CGI programs
Published Jan 17, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
Missing authentication in GE Grid Solutions MS3000 FC46-WebBridge before 3.7.6.25p0_3.2.2.17p0_4.7p0 allows remote attackers to access its API. Programs in the cgi-bin folder expose the FC46-WebBridge API directly on TCP port 8888 without performing authentication. Network reachability to port 8888 is sufficient for unauthenticated use of exposed API functions, affecting device data, behavior, and availability.
