Script execution via unsanitized dashboard icon output
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated May 13, 2025
Reflected XSS in Concrete CMS before 8.5.10 and 9.0.0 through 9.1.2 allows remote attackers to run script through crafted dashboard icon requests. The icons dashboard page places attacker-controlled request data into HTML output without sanitizing it before a browser renders the response. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted response, allowing script execution in that user's browser context and access to data or actions available to the session.
