Script execution via unsanitized multilingual report parameters
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated May 13, 2025
Reflected XSS in Concrete CMS before 8.5.10 and 9.0.0 through 9.1.2 allows remote attackers to run script via multilingual report requests. The page_report dashboard controller accepted sectionID and target keys from HTTP request data without integer conversion or rejection of nonexistent multilingual sections. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted request; script then runs in that user's browser under the site's origin.
