CVE-2022-43929

Service interruption via crafted LOAD command

Published Feb 17, 2023 · Updated Mar 17, 2025

Denial of service in IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows 11.1 and 11.5 allows attackers to interrupt service with a crafted LOAD command. Db2 mishandles input supplied to the LOAD command, but IBM has not disclosed the affected function or the operation that fails. Published IBM records disagree on the gate: the bulletin rates local access without privileges, while the CNA rates network access with high privileges; both limit the impact to availability.
