Log injection in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7, 11.2.0, and 11.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to issue arbitrary requests. The product constructs request URLs from user-controlled data without adequately encoding or escaping the output, enabling requests to internal-network or local-file-system destinations. Low-privilege authenticated access is required; IBM reports integrity impact from attacker-directed requests but does not disclose the affected endpoint or log-processing path.
