CVE-2022-43841

Local information disclosure via browser caching

Published May 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Browser-cache information disclosure in IBM Aspera Console 3.4.0 through 3.4.2 PL9 allows local users to read stored web pages. Console HTTP responses permit browsers to retain application pages instead of applying a restrictive caching policy; IBM has not disclosed a narrower code locus. An attacker needs local access to another user's browser cache, and the reported consequence is limited to reading cached page content.
