Remote code execution via unauthenticated SQL injection
Published Oct 26, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
SQL injection in HandlerPageP_KID in Delta Electronics DIAEnergie 1.9 allows remote attackers to execute code through crafted HTTP parameters. HandlerPageP_KID.ProcessRequest handles GetUDcontent by passing attacker-controlled HtmlId or KID values through string.Format into a SELECT statement without neutralization. An unauthenticated request to /DataHandler/HandlerPageP_KID.ashx can rewrite the root password and support remote code execution.
