Browser data disclosure via reflected SCAP search input
Published Nov 10, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Reflected XSS in SUSE Manager Server 4.2 and Server Modules 4.2 and 4.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript. The /rhn/audit/scap/Search.do handler reflects attacker-controlled input into its response without neutralizing it for HTML. A low-privileged account and victim interaction are required, and successful execution can expose data in the victim's browser context.
