CVE-2022-43747Network attack vector

Code execution via agent buffer overflow

Published Oct 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 22, 2024

Buffer overflow in baramundi Management Agent in baramundi Management Suite 2021 R1, 2021 R2, and 2022 R1 allows remote attackers to execute code. A prepared Internet or intranet web page supplies input that overflows an agent buffer, but the affected buffer and parsing routine are undisclosed. Exploitation requires an endpoint user to visit the page; success runs attacker-controlled code, while failure can crash the agent.
