Remote command execution via cleartext database credentials

Cleartext credential exposure in Siemens SICAM PAS/PQS before 7.0 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands through its SQL server. The software sends the built-in SQL Server credentials unencrypted, and the server enables xp_cmdshell by default to pass SQL input to the host command shell. The attack requires exposure to the credential-bearing network traffic and reachability to the database service; successful use grants command execution on the Windows host.
