Authenticated HTML injection via deletion toast
Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
HTML injection in Apache Superset 1.5.2 and earlier and 2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter deletion-toast content. The deletion-toast renderer inserts HTML-bearing data from a stored CSS-template record without properly escaping it. The attacker must hold CSS-template write permission; rendered markup can affect data confidentiality and integrity when the record is deleted.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
