Arbitrary SQL execution via unescaped invoice identifiers
Published Jan 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
SQL injection in S H Mohanjith Web Invoice 2.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL queries. The new_web_invoice administrative page inserts attacker-controlled multiple_invoices array values into a database statement without proper sanitization or escaping. Access requires the Manage invoice permission, which is limited to administrators by default but can be assigned to subscribers, exposing WordPress database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
