Unauthorized data submission via missing login enforcement
Published Jul 26, 2023 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
Missing authorization in GX Software XperienCentral 10.36.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to submit unauthorized data via /web/mvc. The /web/mvc request handling path accepts POST requests without enforcing the application's login check, allowing request data to reach the server. Exploitation requires bypassing separate security filters; the published record establishes unauthorized data submission, not command execution.
