Administrator-session script execution via unescaped dashboard URLs
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Reflected XSS in Concrete CMS before 8.5.10 and 9.0.0 through 9.1.2 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. Dashboard search templates place user-influenced sorting and pagination URLs into href attributes without HTML escaping. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open a crafted URL in an old browser lacking XSS protection, exposing the administrator's session to script-driven data access and actions.
