CVE-2022-43687Network attack vector

Session fixation via OAuth login

Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025

Session fixation in Concrete CMS below 8.5.10 and 9.0.0 through 9.1.2 allows remote attackers to hijack OAuth sessions. The OAuth authentication flow keeps the pre-authentication session identifier instead of issuing a fresh identifier after successful login, allowing an attacker who fixed that identifier to access the authenticated session. The condition requires OAuth-based login; username/password authentication migrates sessions and is not affected.
