CVE-2022-43684Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated session theft via unguarded ChartDataProcessor queries

Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

ACL bypass in ServiceNow Now Platform Reporting allows remote authenticated users to read protected database table records. The ChartDataProcessor behind Interactive Analysis accepts attacker-selected table, groupby, filter, and page parameters and executes GQL queries without enforcing the target tables' ACLs. A low-privilege account can enumerate session and token tables and use exposed session material to take over an active account, including an administrator account.
