Code execution via SKP parser use-after-free
Published May 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Use-after-free in Bentley View 10.16.2.22 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by inducing a user to open a crafted SKP file. The SKP parser operates on an object without confirming that the object still exists, causing access after its lifetime ends. Opening the file or visiting a page that supplies it is required, and successful exploitation runs code in the current process context.
