Sentry token theft via stale-token connect request
Published Jan 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Information disclosure in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to steal a configured Sentry access token. The Sentry error-tracking Connect action sends the previously stored token to a newly edited server URL before the changed URL and token are saved. Project Maintainer access and an existing Sentry integration are required; the exposed token grants read and write access to the linked Sentry instance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
