CVE-2022-43621

Authentication bypass via incorrect HNAP login comparison

Published Mar 29, 2023 · Updated Feb 18, 2025

Authentication bypass in D-Link DIR-1935 firmware 1.03 allows network-adjacent attackers to access the router without credentials. The HNAP login handler makes an incorrect comparison while validating a login request, accepting a request that lacks valid authentication. The attacker must reach the HNAP web-management interface from an adjacent network; successful exploitation grants authenticated router access.
