CVE-2022-43612

Information disclosure via JP2 parser over-read

Published Mar 29, 2023 · Updated Feb 14, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 23.5.0.506 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted JP2 image. The JP2 image parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires the target to open a malicious file or visit a malicious page; the direct impact is memory disclosure, while code execution requires chaining with another vulnerability.
