Administrator-level database disclosure via unsanitized deletion ID
Published Jan 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
SQL injection in WP RSS By Publishers 0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the feed deletion action. The administrative wsysadmin_feeds deletion action inserts the id query parameter into an SQL statement without sufficient sanitization, escaping, or parameterization. Administrator-level access is required, and crafted id values can alter the existing query or trigger a time-delay response that confirms injection.
