Database disclosure via unescaped rules deletion identifier
Published Jan 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
SQL injection in WP RSS By Publishers 0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read database data. The wsysadmin_rules deletion request incorporates the attacker-controlled id value into an SQL statement without sufficient escaping or parameterization. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and the published time-delay payload demonstrates query manipulation that can extract sensitive database information.
