CVE-2022-43575Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via undisclosed Web UI XSS

Published May 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site scripting in IBM Aspera Console 3.4.0 through 3.4.2 PL5 allows remote attackers to expose credentials via its Web UI. IBM has not published the affected request, field, or code path, stating only that the Web UI accepts embedded arbitrary JavaScript. Execution requires a trusted user to interact with attacker-supplied content; the script can alter interface behavior and disclose credentials in that session.
