Risky SPL command execution via rex field names

Improper input validation in Splunk Enterprise 8.1.11 and earlier and 8.2.0 through 8.2.8 allows remote attackers to bypass risky-command safeguards. The rex search command accepts crafted field names that evade browser-facing safeguards intended to block risky SPL commands. Exploitation requires Splunk Web and a phishing-induced browser request from a privileged user, after which commands run with the victim's power-role permissions.
