CVE-2022-43540

Local disclosure of sensitive information

Published Jan 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Information disclosure in ClearPass OnGuard for macOS allows local users to read sensitive data from affected Policy Manager 6.9 and 6.10 deployments. HPE identifies the vulnerable locus as the OnGuard macOS agent but has not disclosed the operation that exposes the data or the data fields involved. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to the same macOS instance; published evidence limits the impact to reading sensitive information and reports no modification or service interruption.
