Local root code execution via undisclosed agent flaw

Local privilege escalation in HPE Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager 6.10.7 and earlier and 6.9.12 and earlier allows local users to execute code as root. HPE identifies the affected locus as the ClearPass OnGuard Linux agent but has not published the operation that mishandles user-controlled input. A low-privileged account on an endpoint running the agent is required; successful exploitation grants complete root-level control of that endpoint.
