CVE-2022-43529Network attack vector

Session persistence via incomplete session invalidation

Published Jan 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Session fixation in HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator allows remote authenticated users to retain access after reset. The web management interface does not invalidate an existing authenticated session when a password reset or comparable session-clearing event occurs. An attacker must first hold a valid session; that session keeps its existing permissions after administrators expect access to end.
