Administrator SQL injection via unescaped post_id input
Published Jan 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
SQL injection in QeRetail Qe SEO Handyman 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries via post_id[]. The import_meta handler places the post_id[] value into a SQL statement without proper sanitization or escaping, as demonstrated by a time-delay payload. An administrator-level WordPress session and a valid request nonce are required, and the demonstrated consequence is control of the query, including a measurable database delay.
