Local information disclosure via XML external entities

XML external entity processing in VISAM VBASE before 11.7.5 allows attackers to disclose local information through a crafted file. The file-processing XML parser resolves external entity URIs outside the intended document boundary and embeds retrieved content in its output. Exploitation requires a valid user to open the attacker-supplied file, and the reported consequence is confidentiality loss without data modification or service interruption.
