CVE-2022-4350Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated browser script execution via content_title reflection

Published Dec 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Cross-site scripting in MCMS 5.2.8 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through content_title in search.do. The search.do handler places the content_title request value into generated page output without neutralizing executable markup. A victim must interact with the crafted output; execution can alter data in the victim's browser context but does not directly disclose server data.
