Code execution via crafted image parsing
Published Jan 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.1.7.0 and earlier and TELLUS 4.0.12.0 and earlier allows local users to execute code. The image-file handling code writes outside a valid memory buffer while processing crafted image data; public advisories do not identify the format, function, or malformed field. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file, after which attacker-controlled code runs in the affected application's context and process memory can be exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
