CVE-2022-43430Network attack vector

Secret extraction or SSRF via external entity expansion

Published Oct 19, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025

XXE in Jenkins BMC AMI DevX Total Test Plugin 2.4.8 and earlier allows attackers to extract controller secrets or trigger SSRF. The Execute Total Test scenarios build step parses attacker-controlled XML without disabling external entity resolution, so entity URIs access controller files or network resources. Attackers must control that build step's input files; successful exploitation exposes controller secrets or makes requests from the Jenkins server.
