Agent-controlled Java property disclosure
Published Oct 19, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025
Information disclosure in BMC AMI DevX Total Test Plugin 2.4.8 and earlier allows attackers controlling agent processes to obtain Java system properties. The RemoteSystemProperties agent/controller message does not restrict execution to agents and can run on the Jenkins controller, returning its Java system properties to the attacker-controlled agent. Exploitation requires control of an agent process and vulnerable Jenkins 2.318 or earlier or LTS 2.303.2 or earlier; the bounded impact is disclosure of controller property values.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
