CVE-2022-43423Network attack vector

Controller property disclosure via unrestricted agent message

Published Oct 19, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025

Information disclosure in BMC AMI DevX Source Code Download 2.0.12 and earlier allows attackers controlling agents to read controller properties. The plugin's agent/controller message accepts execution on the controller instead of restricting the callable to an agent, returning the controller JVM's system-property values. Exploitation requires control of a Jenkins agent process and Jenkins 2.318 or earlier or LTS 2.303.2 or earlier; the reported impact is property disclosure only.
