CVE-2022-43410Network attack vector

Job-name disclosure via unauthenticated webhook response

Published Oct 19, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025

Information disclosure in Jenkins Mercurial Plugin 1251.va_b_121f184902 and earlier allows remote attackers to learn configured job names. The unauthenticated /mercurial/notifyCommit endpoint accepts a repository URL, schedules polling for matching jobs, and returns names even when Item/Read permission is absent. Exploitation requires knowledge of a configured Mercurial repository URL and reveals job existence; it does not grant job access or modification.
