Authenticated OS command execution via crafted HTTP request
Published Jan 11, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Command injection in the CGI program of Zyxel Networks NR7101 Firmware before 1.15(ACCC.3)C0 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. A crafted HTTP request reaches the CGI program and triggers OS command interpretation; Zyxel has not disclosed the endpoint, parameter, or failed neutralization. Successful exploitation requires valid management credentials and web-interface access; WAN access is disabled by default on most affected devices.
