Administrator-session script execution via reflected search keyword
Published Nov 3, 2022 · Updated May 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in Emlog Pro 1.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted store-search link. The /admin/store.php endpoint places the keyword parameter into rendered search output without HTML encoding, allowing an injected event handler to run. An administrator must be authenticated and interact with the crafted request; execution can read or alter data available to that browser session.
