Sensitive-information exposure via stored log-analysis XSS
Published Dec 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Stored XSS in BT Panel 7.9.4 through 7.9.5 allows remote authenticated users to expose sensitive information through log analysis. The public disclosure does not identify the affected parameter or function, but reports that attacker-controlled content is retained and rendered by the log-analysis interface without safe output handling. Low-privileged access is required, and the stored script executes when another user opens the affected log view.
